Comp TIA A+ is the foundation of IT career, preferred qualifying credential for technical support and IT operational roles. It is about much more than PC repair. Candidates are better prepared to troubleshoot, and problem solve.

Technicians understand a wide variety of issues ranging from networking and operating systems to mobile devices and security. A+ supports the ability to connect users to the data they need to do their jobs regardless of the devices being used. There are nine fundamental skills that students must master to obtain Comp TIA A+Certification.

1.      HARDWARE
Identifying, using, and connecting hardware components and devices
2.      WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEMS
Install and support Windows Operating System including command line& client support
3.     SOFTWARE TROUBLESHOOTING
Troubleshoot PC and mobile device issues including application security support
4.     NETWORKING
Explain types of networks and connections including TCP/IP, WIFI, and SOHO
5.     HARDWARE & NETWORK TROUBLESHOOTING
Troubleshoot device and network issues
6.     DATASECURITY
Identify and protect against security vulnerabilities for devices and their network connections
7.     MOBILE DEVICES
Install& configure laptops and other mobile devices
8.     OTHER OS & TECHNOLOGIES
Understand Mac Operating Systems, Linux, and mobile OS
9.      OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES
Follow best practices for safety, environmental impacts, and communication and professionalism
