Tuition Assistance/Scholarships


Displaced, dislocated, unemployed, or disadvantaged workers applying for admission may be eligible for financial assistance through the Northern Virginia Work Force Investment Act (WIA program). The skills Source Group. For students who qualify, funds may be applied toward the cost of his/her selected course fees, books, uniforms and other required materials. To determine your eligibility, student applicants can contact one of the following centers:


The CNA Plus Annual Scholarship 2016 (NEW!!!)

Eligibility Requirements: In order to participate in the scholarship contest, applicants must meet the following criteria: - Must be enrolled in a state-approved CNA training/certification program with a vocational school, community college, university, technical institution or the Red Cross. - Must be a US resident and over the age of 18. - Must be in good academic standing with their current educational institution. - Must create a 3-minute video on the topic of the importance of senior assistance and post it online (YouTube or Vimeo are preferred), then submit the link using the form on the Scholarship page or email it to The video will not be used for any purposes other than selecting the winner and should answer the following question: “Senior care of the future: what can we do to provide better care to our senior citizens?”

Salvation Academy Tuition Assistance Program:  (SATAP)


In the event a student is unable to secure funding, the Academy may admit the student if they meet eligibility requirements.


All eligible participants in our tuition assistant program will be expected to work for an agreed number of hours, days, weeks, months or years as a sponsorship for another student in similar circumstance. We also provide non-Federal work-study program that provides part-time employment to student in need of financial assistance to help with program expenses.  The employment has to be in field related to the student’s program of study. Job positions can be either on-campus or off-campus.
